⁹ Then the devil took Jesus up to Jerusalem. He had Jesus stand on the highest part of the house of God. The devil said to Jesus, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here. ¹⁰ For it is written, ‘He has told His angels to care for You and to keep You. ¹¹ In their hands they will hold You up. Then Your foot will not hit against a stone.’” ^(A)
